Role Overview
Video Editor - Full-Time
WebSolGuru is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, professional, and high-performing video content for social media, advertisements, corporate branding, and client campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit reels, promotional videos, social media content, corporate videos, and video advertisements.
- Convert raw footage into compelling, well-structured visual stories.
- Add transitions, subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, background music, and branding elements.
- Create platform-optimized content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Meta Ads.
- Apply colour correction, audio enhancement, and basic visual effects.
- Understand briefs and deliver content aligned with client and brand requirements.
- Coordinate with the digital marketing and content teams.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain raw footage, project files, and final exports.
- Revise videos based on internal or client feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a digital marketing agency, production house, or creative team.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing and content-generation tools.
- A portfolio showcasing reels, advertisements, promotional videos, or corporate content.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Ability to edit reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and other social media content.
- Basic understanding of transitions, subtitles, sound effects, colour correction, and visual storytelling.
- Creative mindset with good attention to detail.
- Awareness of current social media trends and video formats.
- Ability to manage assigned projects and deliver work within deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics or graphic design will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong editing skills and a good portfolio may also apply.
